An Evening With Annie and Alan – October 24

Solihull based photographer Alan Millward FRPS FPSA MPAGB HonPAGB lectures, judges and exhibits at home and abroad. He has served on the RPS distinctions panels for almost 20 years, and holds a double fellowship of the RPS and was awarded the RPS Fenton Medal for services to photography. He is past chair of London and Midland Salons and has over 3500 international acceptances.

Alan concentrates on monochrome environment/people, colour landscape, travel and nature subjects. His work is about “observing and reacting to situations, looking for the single image which sums up the person in his environment.”

Dr Anne Sutcliffe FRPS FIAP is Alan Millward’s wife. Anne is now a creative digital photographer who was taught by her father John and Alan. She gained the distinction of FRPS in 2003.

Anne is past President of Solihull and now a member of Smethwick CC. She is also a member of London Salon and the Eyecon Group and she serves on the RPS Licentiate Assessment Panel.

Anne has developed her own particular style and has a fascination with photographing ladies’ loos… Anne has enjoyed success on the international amateur exhibition circuit and has been invited to judge and lecture both nationally and internationally.
